This webinar will be recorded live on July 15th, 2026 at 12:00PM CT. A recording of the webinar will be available within 24 hours of the live event.

Preventing pressure injuries requires more than identifying the right evidence-based practice (EBP). Prevention demands the ability to implement evidence reliably in complex clinical environments. This session introduces participants to the core principles of implementation science and demonstrates how these methods can strengthen pressure injury prevention efforts across care settings. Using established theories, models, and frameworks participants will explore how context, organizational readiness, and implementation climate shape the success of practice change.

Through real-world examples and an applied case study on repositioning practices, the session illustrates how to identify barriers and facilitators, select and tailor implementation strategies, and evaluate both implementation and clinical outcomes. Participants will learn how to move from EBP intervention identification to sustained practice improvement by aligning interventions with unit needs, leadership priorities, and frontline workflows. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with practical tools to develop, execute, and evaluate implementation plans that enhance reliability in pressure injury prevention and improve patient outcomes.
