IMPORTANT: This course is identical to NPIAP Pressure Injury Training Modules 1-3. The purpose of this course is to allow users who must complete the training annually to begin a new course without losing their previous progress. A new course will be created each year for those individuals to take.

- Stage: accurately classify and stage pressure injuries from photographs and wound descriptions.


- Differentiate: Identify a pressure injury from other wounds and skin injuries.


- Collect Data: Describe pressure injury data collection procedures.


- Apply Interventions: Put pressure injury risk assessment and prevention interventions into practice.


- Identify Origins: Distinguish between community, hospital, and unit-acquired pressure injuries.
